A Course in Miracles
in Stories
Reading a good book has always been a love of mine. As my study of A Course in Miracles deepened over the years, I found many of them contained themes and symbolism relevant, and sometimes even astoundingly accurate, to the teachings I was learning in the Course.
I have since begun to use my love of stories as a way to deepen my own understanding of its teachings. Through the thoughts and emotions such tales stir within us, we can practice applying ACIM principles and experience the lessons at an even more profound level.
A good book can also serve to remind us that our own lives, too, are nothing more than a tale we are telling ourselves. As we practice true forgiveness, we come to remember that we are not the characters we thought we were. We are, in truth, the authors of our script.
